AS PICTURED RARE VINTAGE LUDWIG EARLY 1960S PRE SERIAL # 5X14 SUPER SENSITIVE SNARE DRUM W GUT/ADJ WIRES. 10 LUG DRUM - COA LUDALLOY SHELL - PRE SERIAL # KEYSTONE BADGE - RED BB MUFFLER - TOP RIM COB BRASS BOTTOM RIM STEEL - ORIG BOTTOM HEAD RIMS MUFFLER LUGS ETC ETC. HAS ADJ GUT STYLE WIRES NOT SURE IF CORRECT OR ORIGINAL I BELIEVE THEY ARE BUT THEY DO NOT LOOSEN TENSION WHEN THE SS SMALL THUMB SCREW KNOBS ARE TURNED AND I CANNOT REMOVE THE WIRES THEY SEEM VERY TIGHT ON THE ASSEMBLY THE THROW/ETC WORKS AS IT SHOULD BUT WIRE TENSIONING NOT ADJUSTABLE ASSEMBLY SEEMS CORRECT THOUGH? DRUM IS PLAYABLE AS IS I JUST PLAY IT WITH THROW ARM DOWN HALFWAY AND SOUNDS FANTASTIC WITH THROW IN FULL ON POSITION VERY TIGHT/MILITARY SOUNDING TO ME BUT SOMETHING COULD NEED ADJUSTING OR WIRES JUST REPLACED BY SOMEONE WHO CAN FIGURE OUT THE ISSUE.
